![]() Whisply is available to everyone free of charge. Boxcryptor does require installation of software on your computer while Whisply does not. Whisply does not install software in your computer. ![]() The receiver of the link will have the most recent version of the file when downloading it again later. The great thing about the Whisply link is: When you edit the sent file, those changes will be updated for the receiver as well. NOTE: For security reasons, don’t use email to send the PIN or password! Call the other person on the phone or use some other method of sending the PIN or password. The file will be decrypted and can optionally be saved by the recipient. That person can click on the link you sent, retrieve the file, and apply the PIN or password. If the other person knows the PIN or password, you can send the URL to the intended recipient. Whisply will optionally create a randomly generated PIN or a custom password. ![]() Whisply is especially useful when you want to send a file to someone else but don’t want hackers or spies to see the contents of your file. If you want to safely and securely save files on Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive but don’t want to install software in your computer, or if you need to encrypt a file while you’re away from your desktop, Whisply may be your answer. ![]()
